Supports business unit strategic planning and annual business planning processes.
Identifies, charters, and leads business development team.
Endorses and leverages Enterprise business development and project delivery processes and tools.
Decisions have a significant impact on the business development operations of a project, department or multiple locations.
Applies quality management processes.
Develops and implements work plan for area of responsibility (including schedule and budget).
Uses communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence others internal and external to the organization.
Identifies industry best practices.
Identifies innovative approaches to increase market or geographic share.
Proactively implements strategies created to ensure local business development efficiencies or ensure successful efforts.
Develops and leads new business development programs and initiatives.
Understands and leverages CH2M HILL technologies and services.
Basic Qualifications:
Senior Project Manager of projects within the field of Urban Planning and Development, with proven ability to effectively manage scope, quality, schedule and budget
Significant experience in client development, positioning and sales
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism, Urban Planning, Economics, Public Administration/Policy. Master’s degree in Urban Planning preferred.
Experience in large-scale urban master planning development and re-development projects, including the following project types: Industrial, Mixed-use and Brownfield and greenfield
Direct experience with infrastructure development or rehabilitation, including regulatory and permitting concerns, cost estimates and financing concerns, and/or project management throughout development.
Experience in both physical planning and urban policy and economic analysis.
Experience in the early concept development and implementation of Public-Private-Partnerships.
International project experience preferred.
Fluent English and Portugese, both written and spoken
Experienced in developing and writing winning proposals for governmental and private clients
Experienced at leading major proposals and sales teams
Skilled in the development and delivery of presentations to key clients
Established track record of winning and delivering major planning and development work in Brazil
Experience with a large international firm desirable
Existing relationships with and knowledge of Brazilian private and governmental clients desirable
