Position reports to Supervisor or Manager, Logistics. Resolves customer service problems regarding all areas of business operations. May also manage scheduling and booking of cargo, preparation of import/export documentation, and invoice generation. May quote rates and marketing services to customers, salespeople and company personnel. Has frequent contact with other departments within the organization and other organizations to resolve customer concerns and questions.
Handle day to day customer requirements from different Crowley Logistics Services and Telemarketing sales for new and existing business. Will be assigned to cover customer service objectives and will have a sales budget to comply.
Associates degree in related field or job-related formal training after high school. University studies preferable graduate.
3 - 4 years international transportation (ocean/air) and/or freight Forwarding experience, including one year in an operations or documentation function. May require experience utilizing tariffs and reference materials (ocean/air). Strong customer service skills. Data
entry skills (8,640 kph with 95% accuracy rate). Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required. Strong Microsoft systems oriented and confirmed skills. Fully demonstrated customer service skills and
references. Strong customs knowledge and contacts to resolve day to day issues.
