The Transportation Optimization Analyst will be responsible for leading and directing the analytical and data gathering requirements of Network Optimization including complex modeling and scenario building exercises to deliver solutions to the business. Work with the baseline infrastructure model to define current supply demand, shipping patterns, network flows, and cost structures. Define alternative network models with sensitivity analysis for each model including a cost matrix of both fixed and variable costs along with one-time costs for each scenario. Continually calibrate this model against current financials and actual in-field performance, while tracking the realization of savings once the actual project commences. Configure and utilize network optimization tools (Network Balance, Pricing Simulation, Historical Analysis, Activity Based Costing and Yield Calculation). Implement a successful business strategy that resolves issues & achieves results. Must have quick reaction time to possible situations with loads in transit (Swaps, Cross Docks, Drop & Hook and Breakdown).Responsible for ensuring company protocol & policies are followed to optimal utilization. Create and define presentations for interaction with senior management (Field and Corporate) to drive decisions and then implementing value-creating and game-changing network changes. Interact with Logistics & Liner division on a daily basis to ensure compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain or Finance. College degree in Industrial Engineer or Business administration.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of related experience and a track record of successfully delivering business objectives. Must possess strong communication skills, verbal, written and analytic skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment. Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. Proven experience with SQL and Tableau.
