GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer is a part-time position at the Laureate Network Office Honduras in Tegucigalpa.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creates and executes stellar graphic design projects for a set client portfolio, including logos, posters, logos, flyers, web graphics, diplomas, brochures, T-shirts, email blasts, e-cards, banners, magazine covers, PowerPoint presentations, and more.
• Works closely with customers, peers and interns to develop concepts and designs for each product, event, season or campaign –from initial brainstorming sessions through printing, publishing and delivery. Maintains a healthy balance between highly-creative work and realistic execution and delivery times.
• Follows style guides and branding guidelines on all promotional products.
• Maintains an excellent visual sense, a passion for great design with an outstanding eye for color, composition, interface design and typography.
• Assist the Communications Lead with graphic design for the email communication process, including mass mailing and html coding.
• Practices quality assurance and brand supervision to ensure creative deliverables are representative of the project goals and overall brand values and aesthetic.
• Maintains and liaises with a number of freelance resources to rely on during high-workload seasons.
• Guide other graphic designers, freelance resources and interns, providing clear communication and creative direction, giving timely and helpful feedback to improve creative solutions, and making sure all work is produced on schedule.
