What You'll Do?

Responsible for overseeing and managing day to day aspects of physical security operations at the facilities. This includes supervising contracted security personnel, ensuring compliance with international supply chain security standards (CTPAT/BASC/OEA). to safeguard personnel, assets, and company reputation. Support the development, implementation, and management of programs that identify, mitigate, and manage incidents related to safety, security, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate work sites to identify, analyze and report situations, or conditions considered as a potential hazard for the security of the employees, property or operation. Support and promote safe and secure procedures providing recommendations along the supply chain, including port operation, facilities, land operations and warehouses. Monitor facility security program, acting as liaison between local security companies and corporate security with guidelines provided by SQE. Responsible for evaluating and monitoring performance of private security companies. Prepare and analyze reports to on security vendor compliance with applicable laws, defined security policies and procedures, and security service contracts. Document incidents, identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. Support the supply chain by monitoring compliance with security regulatory standards such as, but not limited to C-TPAT, BASC, ISO and other applicable to the operation along the supply chain. Responsible for conducting training for security officers in support of regulatory and/or business requirements.

Education & Credentials

Bachelor’s degree or a related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.

Experience:

5 years of experience in a security role required gained in a corporate, police or military environment and relevant experience working in a security related supervisory or managerial position preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
