SUMMARY: Responsible for training new and existing employees on department specific training, on-the-job training and address advancements in technology that modify job requirements.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs a wide range of duties associated with employee development and training for the company.
* This position has a specific focus ondeploying new Technology software including devising program and training curriculums for program implementation as well as obtaining, organizing and/or developing training procedure manuals, guides and other technical course materials such as handouts and visuals for internal and vendor utilization.
* Offers expertise in electronic based business applications utilized and devises process solutions and incorporates into the company's training programs.
* Assesses Business needs by working closely with management and conducting surveys and interviews with employees.
* Develops and organizes new employee orientation programs as well as other logistics and transportation training designed for career and operational performance enhancement for CA.
* Presents information using a variety of instructional methods including videos, computer simulations, lectures, and role playing.
* Monitors, evaluates and records training activities for overall effectiveness and develops alternative training methods and programs as needed.
* Selects and evaluates contract instructors for specific projects and determines effectiveness in training delivery and overall instruction as well cost benefits compared to performance.
* Monitors training costs and prepares budgetary reports for expense and training program justification.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, training/learning, organization development or a related field; or a combination of post high school education and related experience.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years’ instructional design and facilitation experience in a large organization and/or functional business unit. Experience developing and delivering curriculum for systems implementation across the organization
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, digital training material applications such as e-Learn, and video conferencing software like Cisco Systems WebEx. Working knowledge of ERP software such as Oracle PeopleSoft.

Ability to design, develop and implement training to achieve desired training results. Knowledge of training methodology and the ability to develop and provide technical/operational training others. Knowledge and experience of using creative and interactive learning methods in various formats.
