SUMMARY: Responsible for all purchases in Honduras of materials and all the inventory,ensuring requirements and Crowley business units policies and procedures.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for quote and local purchases of materials and administrative purchases, orders to USA with contract and without contract, changing a minimum and maximum to ensure the orders on time and avoid being depleted with the most important materials for the repair of the units in maintenance. Other responsibilities:-Elaborations of import invoices-Revision of repair invoices to vendors.-Handling of retread tires.-Procedures for customs clearance of containers.-Maintenance of fire extinctors.-Attending warehouses, Tegucigalpa, Puerto Cortes, Crowley Logistic and Support to Nicaragua.-Revision and input of Vros. -Go out to look for materials in places where there are not credits.-Carry report POS.-File and scanner in the POS FileNet programs plus supporting documents.-Attending Suppliers once a week.-Quotes of materials.-Get new credits and fill their respective documentations.-Processing of payments (Fuel, payments of duties).-Purchases of spare parts and tires for repair of vehicles of the company.-Sale of scrap, burned oil, batteries and others.-Maintenance and order of the Warehouse. EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of experience in the management of inventory, strong supervision skills, team work oriented, full experience in purchasing, and vendor management.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel,Proficient in inventory management systems preferred.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to materials management, purchases, inventory management, communicate effectively verbally and in writing and team work must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners.
