SCOPE

Ensure appropriate workflow between manufacture plants by creating an efficient connection that benefits the interests of the parties involved and therefore of the company.

PURPOSE
Balance and follow up with the planning departments workload coverage in the different plants, with the goal of obtaining a better use of the installed capacity, improve efficiency and ensure opportune workflow between all manufacturing areas to achieve the satisfaction of our internal and external customers.

FUNCTIONS
• Analyze workload needs for each location to ensure work coverage by assigning styles based on terms of profitability, efficiency and performance. Buys and forecast distributions thru all locations.
• Provide strategic planning solutions to increase productivity for manufacturing processes, reduce transportations and OT.
• Monitor plans accomplishments and production performance to evaluate changes if needed in plan.
• Teamwork with plant managers and production areas to ensure budget goals accomplishment.
• Evaluate upcoming forecast against capacity and advise potential risk or resources needed.
• Provide a global view of capacity status to upper management
• Partner with order managements, procurement, production and engineering to improve planning schedules, getting team commitments for plan proposed.
• Responsible for communication regarding capacity request for costumers or upper management.
• Daily problems solving for issues regarding production planning.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
• 4.1 Proactively and periodically follow-up of orders thru manufacture process.
• 4.2 Inform production, planning, management and the areas involved any unresolved problems that prevent the flow of the orders to the next process as well as involvement in the solutions needed.
• 4.3 Coordinate/ request meetings to resolve issues within the specified time frame needed.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS
• 10 years of production facility management experience preferably in apparel manufacturing industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, manage several projects simultaneously and set priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills combined with a high level of integrity, credibility and influence.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Track record of effective partnership with key internal stakeholders.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Graduated university level (Engineering)
• 100% Bilingual (Spoken and Written)
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced - Indispensable).
• Microsoft Office domain, Outlook. (Basic - Indispensable)
• Experience in the use of PPM. (Indispensable)
• Ability to work under pressure.
