POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Account Executive position will have direct exposure to the group director of accounts and will partner with an account executive to handle the day-to-day management of client accounts. This is a highly visible role in which you will have direct client interaction and will receive guidance from senior management that will allow you to eventually progress into an account executive role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Organizes and completes assigned deliverables according to instructions and deadline.
? Develop processes, timelines and work flows for new initiatives.
? Analyze accrued data to flag trends and outliers.
? Stays current with Client production forecasts and assigned vendors by reviewing the forecast reports sent by the client.
? Assists in selection or profile of personnel according to knowledge and experience in area with which program is concerned.
? Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of program.
? Assures that policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to.
? Interacts respectfully with others in a calm and professional manner.
? Accurately completes daily reporting and feedback by assigned deadlines.
? Proactively provides regular feedback to the Management and Executive Team.
? Provides general administrative assistance to account executives and director of accounts.
? Responds to any client inquiries or requests in a timely fashion, as directed by supervisor.
? Sit in on meetings with account executives and management to provide input on client projects.
? Compile mailings, agendas, reports, proposals and general correspondence.
? Maintain client files.
? Take meeting minutes and prepare and distribute call reports.
? Proofread materials prior to presentation to clients.
? Act as host/hostess for visiting clients by arranging logistics, setting up conference rooms, making copies of presentations and reports, and making catering arrangements.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Performs other duties as assigned.
? Travel as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
? A completed University degree, preferably in an applicable field such as Business Management, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations.
? Minimum of 2 years management experience.
PREREQUISITES:
? Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills sufficient to communicate concepts, ideas, challenges and all information in an accurate, timely, professional and effective manner with internal and external contacts at various work levels.
? Must be able to meet with clients and key contacts face to face and over the phone while maintaining professional appearance, composure and clear, positive communication.
? Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
? Able to control follow-up and seek resolution.
? Must be pro-active and take initiative while following appropriate channels of authority, to resolve issues, address areas of concern and improve processes.
? Ability to work successfully in a dynamic environment.
? Demonstrated attention to detail as demonstrated by complete, accurate and thorough communication and data processing.
? Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills sufficient to process data accurately and timely as defined by the client or company standards – please supply work samples.
? Must possess valid passport and be eligible to obtain Visas for traveling to U.S. and Canada.
