Optical knowledge
• Familiar with WDM/SDH project delivery, delivery project and troubleshooting during project life-time as technical expert and TD.
• Know WDM/SDH product maintenance and problem analysis, understand WDM/SDH network routine maintenance, and alarm locating, trouble-shooting and network performance optimization.
• Familiar with Huawei DWDM product, include service configuration, OTN principle, ASON function etc.
• Fully understanding WDM multiplexing and signal flow, know how DWDM works and what will affect system performance.
• Experienced on WDM site working, include fiber cabling, fiber splicing, fiber test, professional on anti-static and fiber cleaning operation.

General Requirements
• Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred Telecommunications
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience
• Excellent interpersonal, written &verbal communications, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Travel to perform duties, valid driver’s license
• Must be able to participate in a 24x7 on call rotation and work on regularly scheduled days as well as unscheduled days and beyond regular work hours as required
• Must be able to use small hand tools, power tools, meters, and other test equipment
