Role Summary:

The creative sales/influencer content writer will develop and create content for print, digital media, or product descriptions. Well-researched and accurate content will be produced on tight deadlines. You will use your skills as a persuasive communicator to create compelling sales and marketing content to attract new business.

The creative sales/influencer content writer will communicate with leadership, clients, prospects, and subject matter experts (SMEs) as potential sources to create prospect/client-facing content. Must follow the company editorial style guide. Excellent writing, spelling, and understanding of grammar are essential to the role, ensuring all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice, and quality. Your writing will essentially be the “voice of the company” to the outside world.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy that promote Knoah’s core values and capabilities to prospective buyers
• Researching and organizing facts and sources and learning how to create a differentiated message relative to our competition.
• Interviewing subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with the team on new ideas and strategies that will help position Knoah to win new business vs the competition
• Create campaigns that drive traffic, improves customer engagement, leads, and sales.
• Building a following for our brand on social media
• Researching competitors, markets, and industries to compare and create fresh content that is innovative and original
• Collaborating with campaign managers, sales VPs, business development team, executive team, creative team, and designers
• Writing a wide variety of external treatments for multiple platforms (case studies, solutions overviews, industry overviews, product guides, white papers, eBooks, company bios, sales presentations, video scripts, website copy, campaign landing pages, blogs, articles, social updates, banners, etc.)
Key Skills: Requirements and Qualifications:

• Expert level verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive sales oriented communication.
• Expert proficiency of the English language
• Creative and innovative thinker and planner with the ability to specify and incorporate graphics into your written materials to enhance its message.
• Persuasive communication skills with the ability to effectively and consistently communicate the voice of the company in all written materials.
• Confident in producing work across multiple platforms
• Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
• Assists team members when needed to accomplish team goals
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

• Must be a problem-solver

• Extensive knowledge of the company, brand, and product preferred
• Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
• Strict adherence to company policies and style
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel). Other presentation tools such as Prezi a plus.
• Knowledge of marketing automation tools a plus (HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
• High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred
