Education
University Degree or Professional qualification in Law, Business Management, International Development or other relevant field or equivalent experience.
Experience, knowledge and skills
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience working in NGO projects with government funding
• Familiarity and ability to work with Results Based Management frameworks
• Experience and competence in budgeting and financial oversight of multi-million dollar projects
• Experience in conducting relationships at senior levels, preferably with government institutions
• Knowledge of change management initiatives
• Knowledge of criminal justice institutions in Honduras

Personal characteristics
The Project Manager should demonstrate a track record of most of the following:
• Understanding ethical behaviour and business practices, and ensuring that their own behaviour and that of others is consistent with these standards and the values of the organisation
• Communicating effectively orally and in writing and using a variety of communication tools and techniques
• Developing new ways to improve operations
• Working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions
• Positively influencing others to achieve results that are in the best interests of the organization.
• Making clear decisions which are timely, in the best interests of the organization and take into account appropriate risks and priorities
• Setting priorities and monitoring progress towards goals
• Problem solving and the ability properly to assess, analyse and develop appropriate solutions to the problem
