Purpose of the position
The Analyst IT Procurement works with the other members of the Global IT Procurement team to resolve requests for hardware, software, or services as per established procedures and corporate standards. The IT Procurement Analyst reports to the Director, IT Administration.

Job Responsibilities

• Processing IT Procurement requests submitted to the Service Catalog.
• Interfacing with vendors for quote requests and order submissions.
• Leading Request for Quotations and Request for Proposal activities.
• Analyzing and identifying opportunities for strategic sourcing and cost reduction.
• Identifying and engaging services of new suppliers in support of IT requirements.
• Collaborating with the Information Security team in assessing vendors’ security practices.
• Working closely with the Legal team in reviewing and preparing contracts.
• Continuously maintaining and updating the global IT contract inventory.
• Providing IT Procurement support for key enterprise projects.
• Routinely interfacing with the Global IT Management team for various IT service inquiries and requests.

Requirements

• College Degree
• 3- 5 years’ experience in a Procurement/Sourcing role and reviewing vendor contracts.
• Experienced in IT Procurement and/or IT Asset Management.
• Bilingualism is essential (English/Spanish); knowledge of French is an asset.
