Responsabilities: • General knowledge of American Health Insurance is not required but preferred. • Clear communication and able to document accounts well. • Excellent Attendance is required. Missing time means you are missing out on hitting bonus. • Conduct conference calls with the patient’s insurance company to get the information updated for the claim to reprocess for payment • Must be confident in escalating calls with Insurance companies when needed (i.e. requesting a supervisor) when answers to questions are not satisfactory
Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: • This is a Fast-Paced Environment – must work set number of accounts per day, document each account. Quality is a must. • Must demonstrate professionalism and firmness at all times on every single call. • Be able to stay in Control the Call - keep conversations on track. • Be confident and ask questions when needed. • Experience in medical office setting is helpful but certainly not required.
