GENERAL SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist role is based in Honduras providing employee first response support for the Laureate Network Office employees and HR coordination support. Support includes coordination of recruiting, training, and people program activities, employee on-boarding support, Honduras benefits administration, and employee data transactional support services. This position will work closely with the LNO HR Business Partners and Corporate Centers of Expertise including Talent Acquisition, Organization Development and Diagnostics, Internal Communications, Compensation Payroll, HRIS and Benefits and the global LNO people program manager, and Learning Portfolio manager to deliver excellent support to the LNO leadership and employee base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The qualifications are as follows but not limited to:
• Accountable for monitoring and responding to LNO employee inquiries and requests delivering excellent customer service and escalating or re-routing requests to HR Business Partners, COEs, as appropriate.
• Manages Employee Relations cases including investigations and resolution
• Responsible for tracking employee inquiries and resolutions and progress against key performance indicators.
• Prepares monthly activity reports summarizing employee center support activity against set service level agreements and KPIs.
• Coordinates training content and logistics in partnership with LNO Learning Portfolio Leader
• Performs recruitment coordination activities such as scheduling interviews, candidate communication and coordination, publish open positions, and schedule, review and re-route pre-employment assessments, and offer package preparations
• Conducts local new hire orientations and assists in preparation of on-boarding schedules
• Coordinates Honduras site employee meetings (such as Benefits training initiatives, etc.)
• Compiles and maintains accurate electronic and paper employee records.
• Manages and/or coordinates all LNO employee data transactions and changes
• Uses electronic portals, bulletin boards and other vehicles to communicate information to the internal customers.
• Administers health and wellness plans including enrollments and terminations and vacation administration.
• Processes required documents through insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
• Assist in coordinating people program activities such as performance management and compensation planning processes and reports in partnership with the LNO People Program manager.
